Wooden Toolbox
For years, carpenters have used variations of the classic wooden toolbox to carry their tools to and from the job site. In this set of free woodworking plans, we show you how to build your own classic wooden toolbox. As with the classic wooden tool boxes of years gone by, this woodworking project requires no nails or screws, but relies on woodworking joinery for strength.

Circular Saws
Carpenters and building contractors have used circular saws for years because of their versatility and portability. A circular saw can rip and crosscut hardwoods, softwoods and other building materials with ease. This same versatile tool has numerous uses in the workshop. Learn the features that you should look for when choosing one of these useful handheld power woodworking tools.

A Note about Dimensions
The dimensions shown on the plans are from my prototypes. Because of the somewhat imprecise methods we are using for cutting out our pieces (circular saw) you may have to compensate slightly. Use these dimensions as a guide but you should double check by measuring your unit prior to cutting.

Building Tip

Remember the carpenters rule:
Measure twice, cut once.
